COMMUNITY SERVICE

I believe that giving is a key to success. In my 25 years in Chico, I have consistently enjoyed the goodwill of the community. As a successful business person, I am delighted to have the opportunity to repay that goodwill.

My involvement and fund-raising efforts are as wide ranging as my interests: from being an "on-air" pledge drive host and regular contributor to KCHO public radio, to being the top individual fundraiser for the Big Brothers Big Sisters 2001 Big Event, and from major sponsorship of the Parent Education Network's, "Pastels in the Park", to my elected 4-year-term as Trustee of the Chico Unified School District as well as perennial past chairman of the Realtors blood drive. As a recipient of the benefits that come from living in a great town, I feel a strong sense of duty to actively involve myself in making it the best it can be.
